To ensure the highest standards, we hand-assemble each dial. Each hour marker (aka applied indices) is carefully riveted to the dial. This is extremely laborious and time-consuming and requires patience and skills to prevent the dial surface from scratching and to ensure the alignment of the indices/hands is all spot on. The dial is the soul of a watch so there is no easy way around it. This is partly why we can only produce a small handful of units each week.
The watch dial is the face of the watch, the first thing that captures the eye and sets the tone for the entire timepiece. At Ginault, we understand the paramount importance of a perfectly crafted dial, as it reflects the watch’s overall quality and elegance.
This meticulous process involves precise alignment and secure placement, guaranteeing that every hour marker is perfectly positioned. By taking this hands-on approach, we ensure that each Ginault watch exudes the premium quality and impeccable craftsmanship that our customers expect and deserve.
