I. Shipping

 

Each successfully accepted order will be shipped in 3 to 5 business days. We found most of email providers block auto generated email receipts. Please do check your spam folder for our order receipt titled “Ginault” upon completing the transaction and mark it “not spam” so you will further receive our email notification once shipment is made.

 

We offer free shipping to customers in all 50 states and US territory including Puerto Rico and Guam. Once we printed out the shipping label a tracking notification will be emailed to you. You will be able to monitor the tracking once the package is shipped out. If signature confirmation is needed for the package (additional charge may apply) please let us know in the note section when placing your order. We will not be responsible for any lost/stolen package.

 

For all international orders, including orders from Canada & the UK, we charge a $49 flat rate shipping fee. Shipments will be made via USPS international priority. To guarantee safe delivery, we will declare full value of the timepiece being sold and purchase full insurance coverage. Customer hold responsibility if any customs fee occurred.

We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Paypal. One thing to note is that the billing address has to match the credit card’s or Paypal’s billing address on file, otherwise the transaction will be declined.

III. Before You Buy

 

A mechanical watch may suit you no good if you have no knowledge of it.

 

Mechanical watches will easily fail your expectations on time keeping comparing to atomic clock’s accuracy. Your iPhone or Android phone, which synchronizes time with your wireless plan carrier every 24 hours, will tell better time than a mechanical watch.

 

A Ginault watch is not a necessity. It is a compilation of craftsmanship and skill set that takes years to acquire. It is an art form of labor, dedication and passion to microscopic elegance.

 

There are certain restrictions in adjusting date and time on a mechanical watch. Failing to comply will break the movement and cause malfunction. To repair would require the watchmaker to disassemble every part of the watch movement, replace the broken parts, reassemble every bit of the movement piece by piece, replace the watch with a new set of hands sometimes even a new dial, water seal gaskets, and so on. It would then be placed onto an automatic winder for the movement to be regulated and fine tuned which may take up to 6 weeks to complete.

 

Unlike quartz or digital watches, mechanical watches are prone to magnetization. Laptop speakers hidden beneath the keyboard, your cellphone speakers, and your high end stereo system, etc, are all powerful magnetizers. Although we designed the watchcase to function like a Faraday cage, placing a mechanical watch near any kind of magnetizer for just a short period of time will magnetize the caliber, causing the watch to run wild. That is to say 30 or 40 seconds a day fast. In some extreme cases, it can be as bad as a couple minutes fast per hour.

IV. Return & Refund

 

Here at Ginault we strive for excellence and precision with each built, and we want our customers to be 100% happy with the timepieces received. Therefore due to this unyielding and prominent nature of our demand for quality, we are only able to accepts Returns/Exchanges in UNUSED condition, meaning the original protective plastics UN-REMOVED, watch UNDAMAGED, and UNALTERED within 7 days of receiving the package.

 

A RETURN FEE of 10% per order will be charged for all refunds. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact US within 7 days upon receiving the watch for instructions to return. All refunds will be processed using the original payment method, minus the return fee.

 

The truth is we are confident that if you have a good judgement of quality you will identify with Ginault’s craftsmanship immediately. Although we are a micro company, we are a team assembled from professionals with true passion in this craft. The amount of time, money, tears and sweat invested in making each Ginault timepiece are tremendous. Within every Ginault timepiece, we infused a fraction of our souls in it.

 

Full refunds (including original shipping fees) will be processed for items that are returned to Ginault due to factory defects ONLY.
