Waterproof Tests

Ensuring water resistance of each watch to the designed depth is paramount. To achieve this, we conduct both wet and dry water resistance tests on every timepiece before it leaves our workbench.

The wet test involves submerging the watch in water while gradually increasing the pressure, ensuring it withstands the rated depth without any water ingress.

The dry test involves placing the watch in a pressure chamber to simulate various depths, checking for any changes in air pressure that would indicate a leak.

These rigorous tests guarantee that each Ginault watch/timepiece meets its specified water resistance standards, providing our customers with reliable performance in any environment.
